About Golden Hour Courier Co.

Golden Hour Courier Co. is a medical courier service built for the San Fernando Valley. We move the things that cannot wait: STAT lab specimens, blood and pathology samples, prescription medications, surgical instruments, medical equipment, and protected health records. Our clients are outpatient labs, ambulatory surgery centers, long-term care pharmacies, private clinics, imaging centers, and hospital departments that need a courier who understands clinical timing rather than a general delivery network.

What we do

The service is deliberately narrow. A dispatcher answers 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and every request becomes a tracked run with a unique dispatch ID. STAT work is picked up immediately and driven direct. RUSH runs are scheduled inside the same day, and standard runs ride fixed daily routes across the Valley. Each delivery is handled under a documented chain of custody with temperature controls that match the specimen — ambient, refrigerated, frozen, or cryogenic.

Behind the wheel, our drivers know which hospital docks require a badge, which lab receiving windows close early, and how the 101, 405, and 118 behave at 5 PM. That local knowledge is why our estimated arrival times hold at 99.7 percent on-time delivery across more than 2,400 clinical runs. Clients can request a dispatch online, track a run by its dispatch ID, and download delivery receipts from the client portal at any hour.

Who we serve

We work with healthcare organizations of every size across the San Fernando Valley, from single-provider clinics in Van Nuys to multi-site lab networks stretching from Calabasas to Burbank. If your operation depends on specimens arriving inside a testing window or medication reaching a patient before a shift change, our schedule is built around yours — including holidays, weekends, and overnight coverage.

Who builds it

This platform is built and maintained by the Golden Hour Courier Co. dispatch team itself, in Van Nuys, California. Dispatch, tracking, and billing tools are developed in-house so the software follows the way our drivers actually work — not the other way around. Every feature on this site exists because a dispatcher, driver, or client asked for it.

The clock is the product

Every run is scheduled, sealed, and tracked against a dispatch ID so labs and clinics know exactly when a specimen leaves and when it lands.

Chain of custody, every hand-off

Drivers are HIPAA-trained and background-checked. Sealed totes, documented transfers, and temperature-controlled handling protect every sample.

Valley-only routing

We run the San Fernando Valley and nothing else — from Woodland Hills to Burbank, Northridge to Sherman Oaks — so route knowledge compounds daily.
